Gratitude

I try to do  this when  I have time, which I feel badly about as I should always make it a practice to do this EVERY TIME

as they had taken the time to read my posts on my Wall , the least I should do is to Thank them.

My Goal is to make sure I do this Daily.

He says to direct people back to your Niche when commenting.

I do not feel this is right. So I will not be doing this at the present time. Especially if it is on another person's wall. This is just being courteous as they are marketers also.

He says to Add Questions:

Adding a question to keep the post flowing and get more comments.

This would be a nice thing to do, especially when it is good to get to know your friends better on Facebook and twitter for that matter.

I have started to do this. Ask them about the weather where they live, or did they have a good birthday.  Or if I have not seen them around much, I will stop over to their wall and ask them if they are okay.

At the end he states to Make more friends.

He says to Add 10 new friends a day

So, I will start to add a few  more friends every day

currently I have: 1026 Friends

We will check the stats in a week;)

Good Luck and let me know your thoughts

and how these tips worked for you

Gmail Boxes are not Bottomless -They Do Fill Up

With Gmail being the most popular email box to use for network marketers. I thought I would write this blog post to remind people that gmail does not have a bottomless email box. There is a quota of email that they will accept in your box.
I have found during the summer months that there has been a whole lot of Gmail email addresses bouncing due to Over Quota.
I realize that people get busy with vacations, spending time outdoors with family and friends, but it is a good practice to log in to your email boxes and review your emails and keep them cleared out.
I have a video as to how to set up filters in your gmail box. Please Read my Post and watch the video.
Set up your filters. This way when you log in to your email box you can easily find the important emails
and clear the unwanted ones.
Most scripts are set up so that they alert the Admin if you are bouncing and alerts the script to put you on bounce mode. Some scripts are set up to Delete your account if you continue to bounce.
Otherwise if you are bouncing a lot in other sites, the Admin can easily remove you from a link in their emails.
You do not want to jeopardize your account standings by bouncing and loosing your account due to negligence of checking your emails and keeping your box cleared out.

Another suggestion is to log in to your accounts and put your account on vacation for the summer months. This way you will not receive a lot of emails and your account should be in good standings when you get back from your vacation or summer leave from working on the Internet.

As site owners we also see a increase in bounces during holidays, Christmas, new Years, Spring Break,  etc.. so please use the same techniques all year long and preserve your accounts in all the sites you belong to. Some Admins are more lenient than others.

Let's Recap:
When joining a site set up filters right away so they are all set up.
When you will be away for long periods of time, set your account on vacation.
Periodically log in to your email box and clear unwanted emails.

Hope you find these helpful tips useful
have a Great Week
Best Wishes to Your Success

Do You Backup your Domains and Databases?

Do You Backup your Domain and Databases?
Have you hosted your site and then Lost Everything?
Learn how to Save your precious work quickly and Easily!

I have Lost Everything from all of my domains and it is Not fun!
By just taking these few simple steps once or twice a month will save you a lot of pain later on.

Another Helpful Tip is to Host Your Site where they Back up your domains for you twice a week at least. All 3 of our servers are Backed up twice a week. i would not have it any other way.
All of our customers sites are backed up free of charge. So if some odd reason our Server goes down, nothing is lost. Our Servers are in one state and our back up servers are in a completely different state. I feel so much better knowing that these backups are always being done.
On top of this. I do go into my sites and back them up once a month or if I have done any major changes to the site. Just so I have a copy on my own computer.

Watch my video and if you have any questions please feel free to ask

Be Careful Where You Purchase Your Domain Names

Be Careful Where You Purchase Your Domain Names

Just a quick Post Regarding Purchasing Domain names.
If you are planning on having a script such as Safe list, Text Ad Exchange or mailing list
then you do not want to purchase a domain with: Go Daddy
I have seen so many sites that have gotten shut down by Go Daddy as they do not approve of  massive amounts of emails. Also if you get one spam report then they will shut your domain down. You will need to pay a fee to get your domain back up again.
Depending on how many complaints as to how much the fee is. I have heard the fee being a Very Large amount so please be careful where you purchase your domain names especially if you are going to have any type of mailings on that domain.

I  personally will not host a domain that is purchased there if they will be doing any type of mailing.

Best Wishes,
Dee

IM Faceplate -Is it Just another Social Networking Site?

IM Faceplate -Is it Just Another Social Networking Site?

Do You belong to several Social Network Sites? Many have opened in the last several years and promise you massive exposure. So Why join another one?

I have to admit, I was very reluctant to join! I had seen so many different social networking sites being promoted when they first opened up. It is so confusing, what ones do You join?  Do you join one of them? All of them? What should you do?
A friend of mine introduced me to IM Faceplate during a conversation on Skype, saying he thought this site was going to be a good networking site, and I should take a good look at it. So, after a bit of contemplating, I joined, and I am so glad I did!

Here is a little bit about IM Faceplate:
IM Faceplate  is owned and operated by Logiscape Technologies Inc. They opened their doors in July 2010.

Here are some Stats Provided by IM Faceplate on October 28th,2010
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here's a quick update on some cool stats that highlight just how fast IM faceplate is growing.
• Over 7,500 articles have been published
• Over 3,000 "spotlights" have been created
• Almost 5,000 posts have been made in the groups
• AND ... we are quickly closing in on 10,000 members!
These numbers are really impressive, especially if you consider that we are not even 4 months old yet!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Owners of IM Faceplate are completely motivated to create IM Faceplate to be the Best Social Networking site online! They listen to their members and take our suggestions seriously in a discussion group, that they monitor. I have seen Many Many Awesome Improvements during the last few months with MORE to come!

Here are Some of the reasons I joined and I feel are Excellent Reasons why YOU Should to:

1. You can Join as a Free Member and use all of the functions to promote your website as a Pro Member has. One of the biggest Differences are the Points you earn viewing other members Faceplate, a Free Member earns less points than a Pro Member Does.

2. Free and pro Members can add a Photo to their profile. This is used to Brand Yourself. People like to associate a picture with a name. So, make sure you add your picture as soon as you can. Use Your picture as often as you can when promoting your website, so that others see your picture and often. They will know that you are busy promoting yourself and your product, as with this association they will gain trust.

3. All members can Add Links to their Faceplate advertising your favorite affiliate programs or businesses. Giving You Awesome Exposure to what you are promoting!

4. Each member is allowed to publish Articles for other members to read and get acquainted with you and your expertise. This one was a hard one for me as I have always been behind the scenes and had never written an Article before (or a blog for that matter, but here I am). You will be surprised as to what you have to offer and share with others, once you start to mingle and reading others Articles and posts. You can Really learn a lot about a person this way!

5. All Members can Add a spotlight. This can be graphic images promoting your website or your favorite You Tube video
What ever you would like to put in the spotlight to Grab other members Attention.

6. Search and Follow Like Minded People. What better way to find like minded people. They are only a click of the mouse away!  After all isn't that one of the main reasons People do Join a Social Networking Site? Get acquainted and Help the New Comers Online! We all were Newbies once upon a time. We all knew how it felt to have no clue where to go, what to do or how to do it. Helping Others is about the best feeling in the world. Remember what goes around comes around! I enjoying helping others, it brings me great joy and satisfaction. So Mingle , share ideas and ask questions, you will be glad you did.

7.  Your IM Faceplate is also connected with other Social Networks: So make sure you Add your profile information for Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, or some of the others you belong to, so that your followers can follow you on other outlets also. (Your Twitter Tweets can also display on your IM Facplate.)

8. Do you have a blog like this one? You can also add your Blog to display on your Face plate.

9.. When you read others Articles, posts, view their spotlights (and when others Read and View Yours): We all have easy access to LIKE  and share to our Facebook or Twitter accounts. This will Also give you a whole lot more exposure to Your  Posts, Articles and spotlights.

10. Easy to navigate around! This is one of the reasons why I enjoy IM Faceplate the best. I have joined a few of the other social networking sites to end up being frustrated as it was hard to figure out! I have had no problem here! IM Faceplate template is easy to use and navigate to find new members to follow, keep updated on the groups and discussions. Add articles or spotlights is Very easy!

11. Are You Running out of ideas? There are Great Discussions in the groups, with members helping other members with problems and sharing ideas. Great way to get a different prospective on things!
They have a Wide Variety of Groups for discussion posts, if there is not one with your topic then you can Easily Start a group.

12. Add a shout Out : This displays by your IM Facplate name where everyone can read it. Is there a Pre-launch you want everyone to know about? You Can shout out that you posted a new Article or Started a new Group. Maybe Share your Favorites Quotes. Pro members can schedule their shout outs ahead of time to change up to 3 times a day.

13. Pro members have a shadow box: When ever a Pro member adds a post in a group their shadow box appears  providing  a whole lot of exposure to your promotions. The more you post in groups the more your Advertising is being shown all around the site.

14. Since I joined IM Faceplate, I have had a steady growth of members in all of my sites. I have met a lot of  intelligent like minded people here. Even with me being online for over 10 years, I  have learned alot just by talking with the other members.

So, do you need to join all of the social network sites?
That is up for discussion. Some might say, the more you join the more exposure you have promoting your business and yourself.
Others might say, they just do not have the time!
I try to make at least an hour or so a day to go into my Faceplate and follow those who are following me, welcome the new Faceplate users, read a few articles and view some spotlights.  I post in a few of my favorite discussion groups and update my shout outs.  When I promote during the day, I sent out advertisements of My faceplate, as all of my promotions are all listed in the ONE Place! Makes it a lot easier now for me to promote. I have joined a few social Networking Sites but:

IM Faceplate is Number ONE in my book as a Social network site!  Join Today and Give it a try. It is Free!
